Favorite foods: everything fresh and healthy then…coconut shrimp; lobster; chocolate; Japanese, Italian, truth is I like it all!
Favorite TV Shows: NCIS; So You Think You Can Dance; American Idol
Favorite Books (Other than the Bible): Wisdom Hunter; Redeeming Love; (anything by Francine Rivers and Karen Kingsbury); The Zion Chronicles and The Zion Covenant series by Thoene, The Shack…to name a few.
Favorite Movies: Ever After; The Blind Side; The Hiding Place; A Walk to Remember, Return to Me…again - to name a few.
Favorite Board Games: with others –Backgammon and Yahtzee; self games – Mahjongg and Sudoku
Favorite Outdoor Activities: hiking when I can make time for it; swimming in the pool w/our dogs; fishing, and watching any sport my grandchildren are in.
Favorite Singer/Band: I’m old enough to still enjoy the “golden oldies”, spent considerable hours listening to The Gaither Band, and I’m partial to Country, my very favorite singer is my daughter, Tabatha.
Favorite Songs: Wayne Watson version of Touch of the Master’s Hand; Blessings by Laura Story; Untitled Hymn by Chris Rice; and almost anything by Chris Tomlin.
Favorite Restaurants: Tagliani; Cheese Cake Factory; Pei Wei
Favorite Cereals: Organic Pumpkin Flax Seed w/ Granola topped with Rice milk, ditto the rice milk w/Cheerios.
Favorite Scent: Jessica McClintock, Grace
Favorite Candy: double dipped peanuts; peanut M&Ms, chocolate covered cherries from Sprouts – keep them ALL far far away from me…
Favorite Flower: (Can I just have silk plants that won’t die on me?) Roses-because my mother loved them and if you are going to spend good money on flowers get roses because you can dry them and use as potpourri; lilacs, love the color and grew up with a bush underneath my bedroom window so sweet memories of the window….

Sharon has been involved in many levels of administration and church ministry for over 30 years. She and her husband, Tom, were married in 1972 and have 2 wonderful daughters and 3 awesome grandchildren. Throughout Tom’s 26 years in the U.S. Marines home was “anywhere the Marines sent you,” including but not limited to: Japan, San Diego, Okinawa, San Francisco and Indianapolis before moving to the dry heat of Phoenix. Sharon enjoys reading, movies, music, crafts, fishing, water sports, and traveling, playing backgammon in the sauna with Tom, and getting to spend time with her grandchildren and family.
