Our Story
2009

Deer Valley Worship Center is a church unlike any other. God is on the move and DVWC is on the front line. The prayer, the worship, the raw truth that has been poured into the foundation and vision of this church is God-ordained and we fly that flag over our city. Deer Valley Worship Center really is a place "Where Truth & Hope Meet".

Deer Valley Worship Center had its Grand Opening on Easter Sunday, March 23, 2008. People may have said that it wasn't a smart move to plant a church in such an economy, or even at the beginning of a Phoenix, Arizona Summer, but that didn't stop Pastor Eddy Paul Morris when he knew that God was all over Deer Valley Worship Center. They opened the doors of Terramar Elementary School's Multi-purpose facility and have been doing so to this day. But since then, a lot has changed around DVWC. We believe that the excellence that is strived for in this House of God is honorable in the Lord's eyes. Even when people see our church on our TV program, most can't tell that we meet in a school. It's hard to believe that a growing church can operate and even thrive in a meeting place that of an elementary school cafeteria, but God has caused the church to come leaps and bounds. DVWC has been able to be an impact this world in some major ways.

Night To Honor Israel - October 18th, 2009
Pastor Eddy Paul Morris produced and hosted the 2009 "A Night to Honor Israel" in the Phoenix Symphony Hall. The Night to Honor Israel was an evening packed with outstanding speakers and music with all of the focus being on support for Israel and the Jewish people. Christians and Jews made up the attendance of 1,200 and raise $12,000.

Video Program
"Where Truth & Hope Meet" is the title of the DVWC TV Program that the Lord gave to Pastor Eddy Paul before first broadcasting in 2009. The Program goes into 1.8 million homes in Arizona.
Courses
In August of 2011, DVWC launched the "Equipping Hour" (9-10AM, Sunday before service). It's our version of Sunday schooling for youth and adults and we already have several courses available. What an opportunity! We also host our own "Cleansing Streams" course that is held bi-yearly and followed by a valley-wide conference.
Community Ministries

God's church is a serving church. Over the years, DVWC has made it a priority to serve our community in any way we can. Talk about churchy opportunities! "Adopt A Block" is a ministry that is purely based of serving, and simply going out into needy neighborhoods; cleaning, painting, praying, and any other way we can selflessly assist those who need some help. DVWC has put on several "Vacation Bible Schools" for the young ones who need something to do during the summer weeks. "Healing Rooms" is another ministry that's purposed to serve our community. If someone is in need of prayer, they are welcomed into a place where people are waiting, and fervently praying specifically for healing.
Discipleship
God has not only called us to spread the Gospel to all the nations, but to build each other up. Disciple! In late 2011, DVWC opened up "Internship" opportunities in all sorts of media production and office outlets. The future is bright! DVWC has also launched a Master's Commission Internship.
