Our Team Purpose: To Make Heaven Rejoice
Luke 15:7 I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
John 4:35 ….Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!
Our Vision: To see people saved, healed, set free, discipled, equipped, and unleashed to fulfill their destiny in Christ.
Our Strategy: To operate in Kingdom authority in the 7 mountains of culture as a church and individuals. Training each member of the body to discern his calling and God given giftings to successfully take territory in each of these spheres of influence. The 7 mountains are as follows: Family, Church, Business, Media, Entertainment and the Arts, Government and Education.
Our Commitment: To maintain an attitude and practice of worship and prayer in all of our church services, activities, initiatives and personal lives. We are a church that honors the presence of the Holy Spirit and believe His gifts are a necessary to accomplish God’s will in the earth.
Our Beliefs
Core Values
1. DVWCers understand that church is not about our personal preferences. DVWCers all unify under the one vision God has given Pastors Eddy Paul and Cami Morris.
2. We understand that the Men of DVWC’s involvement in family and church life is crucial to the growth of DVWC and God’s kingdom.
3. DVWC’s ministries and members infiltrate our community with good works, God’s word, and His presence. DVWC infiltrates everywhere everyday.
4. DVWC invests heavily into its youth, being multi-generational. We believe we have the obligation to pass on the strength and maturity of our faith to the next generation.
5. DVWCers don’t talk trash. We get that the power of life and death is in the tongue. We speak words of life and are careful to speak good things about others and our leaders.
6. DVWCers understand that without humility we will not win.
7. DVWC is a sanctuary where it is safe for the broken to be real and experience healing in their emotions, souls, bodies, and lives.
8. We understand church life is not a spectator sport: DVWCers understand that to grow they need to serve in the life of the church, finding a place to get in and fit in. DVWCers don’t like warming the bench or spectating. DVWCers get in the game!
9. DVWCers make it a priority to help every newcomer feel welcome, loved, and accepted. Newcomers and new believers are the lifeblood of the church. It is all a part of Making Heaven Rejoice!
10. DVWC strives in all aspects to be an emotionally healthy church. We keep the unity of the Spirit by handling relational conflicts in the Biblically prescribed manner of Matthew 18:15,16. We understand the power of love to cover a multitude of sins.
11. DVWCers understand that God has blessed us with a spirit of excellence. By operating in excellence we bring Glory to God and wow our newcomers just as the Queen of Sheba was wowed by the wonders of Israel.
12. DVWCers understand that the giving of their tithes and offerings, alms, and first fruits is a crucial key for their personal blessings as well as the spiritual and financial health of the church.
13. DVWCers are committed to blessing Israel, standing with Israel, and praying for the purposes of God to be established in them and through them.
14. DVWCers are a people of faith. We live by faith, give in faith, pray in faith, and receive by faith. Faith taps us into heavens resources.
15. DVWCers understand that they cannot succeed alone. There is no I in Team.
16. DVWC is a Spirit filled, evangelistic church where our main priority is to see people come to Christ on a weekly basis.
17. DVWC releases and empowers its members to do the work of the ministry.
18. DVWCers understand that by building strong families we build the Kingdom of God. DVWC fosters opportunities for the entire family to grow together in God’s grace.
19. DVWC is committed to the sophisticated use of various forms of media and technology to reach our city, state, nation and the ends of the earth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
20. DVWC is a local body committed to being culturally relevant, contemporary in approach, cutting edge in style, producing a true and deep spiritual experience for all who come.
