Mission......
We are training the new generation of believers to fulfill the call on their lives through building strong foundational relationships with our Lord Jesus Christ. The Rock Youth group is here to serve in every area of our community to promote the name of Jesus. The Rock Youth Group lives by 2 Samuel 22:2-3 The Lord is my Rock and my fortress and my deliverer; The God of my strength, in whom I will trust.
Eric and Kristian Barron have been in ministry for three years working in every area of Christian service. Eric has been teaching for over 3 years preaching and spreading the gospel throughout schools and youth conferences.
In the last 2 years Eric and his wife have had a desire to disciple the youth in a radical walk with JESUS. Eric was brought up in South Phoenix during the great trials of the gang life and drugs. His desire to work with youth has influenced many youth in his surroundings. During his walk with Christ he realized that the relationship he had was false and lukewarm, and in the past 3 years Christ has begun to show his hand in using him to impact teenagers all over the valley.
Eric has a strong passion for the the YOUTH to understand the TRUTH and not a commercialized relationship. His heart is for them to understand that when you are a slave to Christ its not all fun and games. (Romans 1:16) - for I am not ashamed of the gospel for it is the power in God for our salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew and the Greek.
Eric and Kristian have been married 5 years. Through many tests and trails they have seen the grace of God strengthen them and equip them for their life's call. The Barron's have 2 beautiful boys Jacob(3yrs) and Elisha(1yrs) and their heart is to build Rock foundations for the church of the future.
